“Why’s everyone starin’ a’ me?” Hikaru whispered to the person nearest to her. Bright blue-green eyes looking to them before shooting glares at the people who kept looking at her oddly. She didn’t realize that her biological father, Jiraiya, had quite the reputation.

He was minding his own business as usual. Eating lunch, enjoying his afternoon, listening to the crowd behind him roar in laughter and words and getting drunk this late in the day. A lover of silence, he still enjoyed the patrons’ noise that echoed in the open room. It sounded…pleasant, harmonious.
Then, the noise slowly.died down and he thought they have gotten tired. But at the sudden, rushed whisper that passed his ears, he turned to see the person next to him shift uncomfortably on her seat. It took him the whole three minutes wide-eying her in curiosity. A foreigner? Perhaps, yet she seemed familiar to a certain sannin.
"Konoha’s pretty small.“ He told her nonchalantly, the calmest he has ever been. "The villagers here have…grown to become quite suspicious…to strangers.”
