But you never told me… || Sharinganless & Byakuganprince

byakuganprince:

The day was peaceful, perhaps a tad too peaceful for the Hyuuga to feel at ease. No calls, no missions, no company. The big house felt so much emptier, almost dead.

Deep sigh.

He walked to the room he shared with the Uchiha and picked up his things, throwing his jacket upon him, strutting his way out.

                          Yet, destiny was unclear

So he decided to aim for the commercial center of the Village, picked some things for the house and for the food, some of the sweet traits he liked, some of the raven’s favorites and some for his son as well. Some flowers for giving life to the house, he could even press some of them later on.

Now a content smile appeared on his features, evidently calmer upon worrying his mind on various things. But something on his chest still felt… Out of place. Like a bad presage.

The bluehaired had learned to not ignore his own warnings. Now he knew better than to pass it around without attention.

And so his steps finally lead him down the path where the academy was. A nostalgic rush went about his insides.

                          It didn’t last long.

His attention was instantly picked when he saw a group of boys around in a messy circle, screams coming out of the center.

“Oi! Stop it!” He screamed, deep warning voice, as he approached fast on their direction. “What the hell do you think you are doing?!” Some whispers crashed chaotically around him and the youngsters began to separate.

And the view shocked him. Every part of his visage was drained of   c o l o r. “No…”

Honou wakes up with a groan. He turns to the window and realizes;

                                          ‘ it’s gonna be a hot day ‘

Regardless, he wears long sleeves to cover purple marks and scars from his arms, and bandages some on his knees and fingers because he didn’t want to worry his father, who has been extra attentive to him as of late. He tells him,
                                       ‘ i-i’m fine. no, n-no’s bullying me.
i-i’m just, clumsy, ‘is all. ‘

But he comes to school and already kids are avoiding him like plague, calling him names like ‘dumb-ou’ or ‘the ungenius one’ because he’s slow and can’t get things right and while his teacher scolds the class about this behavior, he scolds Honou the most for dragging the class average down.

And when he does, that’s when everyone is quite hostile towards him—they pretend he isn’t there or keeps him out from their games. They draw on his desk of how stupid he is or they make a silly remark like his mother is disappointed for having a failure and at one point,
                                                                           he thought he really was.

                        And then at another point,
he throws his fist at one of them.

He curls up into fetal position, arms shielding from the kids who retaliated by kicking him on the head. Because surprisingly when Honou’s fist connected to the older boy’s face, he breaks his nose. He stood there looking even more surprised than his buddies, and frightened because his buddies ganged around him and started attacking him like he has done the greatest crime of all.

And he just wishes to go home and tell his father that he doesn’t want to go to school. That the kids are evil. That the teachers don’t notice at all.

He hears a familiar voice and he lifts his eyes up. The boys stop, because they have heard it too, and they ran away quickly with their tails between their legs.

Honou bursts into tears, shrinking more into a ball and wishing his Hinata-touchan didn’t witness this at all.
