“I was just asking if you had your report from your last mission completed? It needs to be turned in as soon as possible.” He didn’t like having to hunt down some of these men and women to get their paperwork, but sometimes they often forgot. “Just so I can get it sorted out as quickly as possible. For the both of us.”
“Hmmm,” He face wreaks nervousness, unsure if he has or hasn’t. It had been such a routine thing to do; it felt automatic to do so but now that it has been pointed out to him he has to retrace his actions in his head to make sure he really has, or it might be a huge problem for both of them. “I might have dropped it on your desk a few hours ago. B-but since you’re asking me whether I have or not, t-then…I think…I must have…placed it…somewhere…else…?”
