Isobu sighed as he began to turn the pen into coral after eating it. This was the bordum of grading papers. His students are lucky they didn’t get coral papers back. “Probably taking care of you guys and still having to missions for Papa Naruto..” He spoke as he stared down at the paper before pushing it aside and leaning back in his seat. “She better love you. You are her son… at least you weren’t born a jinchuuriki.” Hono better know what a jinchuuriki was, came with being in Isobu’s class. The turtle shouldn’t have been surprised when Hono went straight to liking his mother. “I’m not going to answer your question, Hono, because your father would kill me. But I gotta say, your mother does interest me..” He slammed his hands on the desk and stood up rather quick. “Screw grading. Let’s go get that candy..” Isobu was already bored of grading, might as well do something else.
Hono giggles, sensing his teacher’s sudden discomfort when he asked if he liked his mother. Although it’s not something that bothers him, since a lot of people do like his mom. However, his dad, being a grumpy, overly-protective, and easily jealous guy that he was, would make sure that they’d never get at least a mile near her. It seemed ridiculous for the young child, probably because it’s not something he understands, or because he finds it humorous.
At the mention of candy, Hono’s eyes lights up, and as his teacher got out of his desk, Hono follows his lead. But he neatly arranges the ungraded papers to a pile, placing the pen on top of the stack so the wind wouldn’t blow it away.
“N-ne, Isobu-sensei-chan, you’re very funny today.” He chuckles with a hand over his mouth.
